The 240-watt Heater Kit is placed at the bottom of the cabinet, just under the door, to allow the heat to keep the face of the machine and the attached equipment at optimal operating temperatures when the weather outside drops below 50 degrees F. The heater has an internal thermostat to help control the on/off function.
