I bought these as a joke to annoy my partner. Initially I said I was going to spend my tax return on a huge gumball machine. Thats how I found gumball.com. I was sad to realize that the only gumball machine that would meet my needs (fulfill my childish, goofy dream) costed something like $3,000-$5,000. I was happy to settle for 100 little monkeys.

My band had an album release show, and we decorated our merch table with party themed stuff. I brought the monkeys and strategically placed them on the table. I took 55 of the monkeys to where I work, and hid them all around the lab. Turning the lab into a treasure hunt between day shift and night shift was probably the most fun I’ve ever had at my otherwise dull, laborious job. I hid the rest around my partner’s apartment. They still haven’t found them all. I love the monkeys and will probably buy more.
